Based on a real story. Such an endearing story of one marine's journey through basic training. Serves as a good reminder of what made "don't ask, don't tell" so harmful for so many men who served our country and put their lives on the line for us. I think like many others, I was so disappointed that this wasn't renewed for a second season. There are so many directions that this could have gone. Thoroughly enjoyed watching it though!
