They could have pushed Kovacs further into the rough and tumble character they were originally written as, but otherwise solid all the way through. Season 2 is absolute cheeks however, I cannot be bothered wasting storage space on that junk.

Set in the future, Altered Carbon follows the story of Takeshi Kovacs, an almost superhuman mercenary, as he is released from prison, essentially a slave to a very rich man. Takeshi's unique set of experiences and skills guide him through the investigation he is tasked with, revealing life altering truths from his past. Both leads, Joel Kinnaman and Anthony Mackie(Season 2) help bring the idea of an "envoy" to life.
