Machos Alfa is a comedy that brilliantly and thoughtfully addresses the challenges of masculinity in a rapidly changing world. The series follows four men in their 40s (played by Fernando Gil, Raúl Tejón, Gorka Otxoa and Fele Martínez) as they try to adapt to a more egalitarian society in the process of deconstructing the patriarchy. Through absurd and funny situations, Machos Alfa raises a critique of new social rules, showing both the advances and setbacks in the fight for equality. The series is a perfect example of how comedy can be the ideal vehicle to discuss complex issues such as machismo, equality and the evolution of human relationships. With an intelligent script and situations that highlight the contradictions of modern society, Machos Alfa makes the viewer question their own perspective while having fun with each episode. The cast, led by Gorka Otxoa, Fele Martínez, Fernando Gil and Raúl Tejón, offers outstanding performances that manage to balance drama and comedy.
