那一天小学五年级的樱咲朱音，从小看着身为落语家的父亲阿良川志太的背影，被他那如魔法般的落语深深吸引。为了回报支持自己梦想的家人，志太挑战落语界最高位“真打”的晋升考试。在朱音等人的注视下，志太发挥出了实力，但晋升考试却迎来了令所有人都意想不到的惊人发展。

初次登台刚升上的“二目”的阿良川格力高，听说师傅阿良川志熊与年轻女子幽会的传言后，开始进行调查，结果发现了正在卡拉OK店里接受志熊指导练习的高中生朱音。就在这时，志熊接到通知，急需人手在“落语吃茶”表演，他指定了没有经验的朱音，而非格力高。

喜悦之后在居酒屋“海”当服务员期间学会了眼力见的朱音，陪同享二前往下一个演出地点——一家养老院，他们将在那里表演落语，作为养老院的娱乐活动之一。朱音将她所学的一切都运用到舞台上，为老人们带来欢乐。随后，享二也走上舞台，决心向朱音展现师兄的威严。

可乐杯可乐杯预选赛的日子到了。今年的焦点人物是两连冠的大学生练磨家芥子和人气急升的年轻声优高良木光。在此之外，担任主持的魁生向记者介绍了无名女高中生“朱音”为夺冠热门。为了守护朱音，小熊、格力高、岩清水也都来到了会场。面对强劲的对手们，朱音最终能否能以“万寿无疆”在预选赛脱颖而出呢？
