In the end, it felt more like a movie that was trying to make Muslims look good. (I'm not hating, I'm just saying it stopped feeling like a movie about a gay man, even.) And I'm still confused. Were they the killers or not? I agree — the ending was a bit annoying. It felt cheap for him to just show up out of nowhere like that. I think it's strange that they didn't mention whether they caught the killers. I thought it was them halfway through the movie, and then with the car, I was like, "Yeah, it's them," but then the movie ends and leaves me really confused. I just don't get it. I understand that was his personality and he was hurt, but I thought it was rude and in poor taste for him to show up wearing those clothes. With the talk of him having an angel, I thought it was the guy he found in the bathroom — because he knew Mario, they decided not to kill him — and his suspicious look didn't help either; it made me think he was part of it. And yeah, that's probably one of the things the movie is trying to teach, but as I said, it felt like the focus was just on them. In the end, this movie just left me like, "WTF, I'm confused.
