加利福尼亚州的一条高速公路上，为了还回车中小女孩遗失的玩具娃娃，巡逻警官爱德华（尼古拉斯·凯奇）叫停了一辆旅行轿车。然而就在一瞬间，另一辆失去控制的卡车却撞上了轿车，猛烈的碰撞将母亲和小女孩困在其中，虽然尽力抢救，爱德华却只能眼睁睁地看着轿车爆炸。之后数月，他一直无法忘记那两张绝望的脸，只能靠吃药来麻痹自己。 一天，爱德华意外收到前女友薇洛的信，薇洛在多年前毫无征兆地离开了他。原来，因为女儿罗婉的神秘失踪，薇洛心急如焚，她不得不求助于自己唯一相信的爱德华，请求他到自己的家乡隐秘的“夏之岛”一趟。为了救出失踪的罗婉，减轻自己的罪恶感，爱德华踏上了去往那个太平洋西北方向的小岛的路途。 然而好不容易到达这个与世隔绝的小岛之后，爱德华却发现小岛暗藏玄机。遮遮掩掩、举止怪异的小岛居民们都假装不认识罗婉，爱德华的调查越加困难，而后随着调查的深入，神秘事件层出不穷，小女孩也开始像幽灵般忽隐忽现……

- Jordan Jones2025年10月14日This movie has to be one of the most laughable & bizarre accidental Comedies of all time. Which is the reason why it is so watchable and a great movie to roast, especially with all of your friends.... it does have that going for it. The Wickerman 2006 Remake is the very definition of a guilty pleasure and is so bad that it loops all the way round to being good..... what a very mixed bag of a movie this is quite literally. The film actually doesn't know what genre it wants to be.... there's a genre crisis going on there and giving it a 2 and a half star rating feels just ✅️
