- jackmeat2025年5月5日My quick rating - 3.7/10. I am such a fan of Kenan Thompson but he could not save this mess at all. So many of the jokes, I am sure they thought were "gold," just were NOT. Pass if it pops up.
- Richard2025年12月13日I first saw this one on streaming, and it’s exactly the kind of late 2000s parody that feels made for that format. The movie is about Stan, a slacker video clerk who, along with his ex girlfriend, best buddy and an exotic dancer, stumbles into a cursed town on Halloween night. The gimmick is clear: throw Stan against knock off versions of horror’s biggest icons, Freddy, Jason, Pinhead, Leatherface, Chucky and Michael Myers and play it for laughs. The humor is broad, the gags hit unevenly and the film leans heavily on crude jokes and pop culture riffs. On streaming, it worked as disposable fun. the kind of movie you watch once for the curiosity factor, then move on. Compared to sharper parodies like Scary Movie, this one feels cheaper and more scattershot, but it knows exactly what it is: a goofy Halloween spoof with cult aspirations.
