At the St. Bartholomew's retirement home, the lively seniors enjoy their golden years. The atmosphere is marred by the despotic head nurse, Linprun, who constantly humiliates the residents. When a spry old woman suddenly dies, Nafziger, Schambeck, and Ms. Tenns are convinced: The sadistic nurse murdered her. However, the police, who only conduct routine investigations into deaths in retirement homes, ignore their leads. But the trio doesn't give up.
