The border scene alone had me locked in—barely any dialogue, but the pressure is insane. You can feel something’s about to go wrong the whole time. And that dinner scene… man. So quiet, so controlled, and somehow more intense than any action moment. It’s the kind of scene where you realize how cold everything really is. Overall it just feels sharp, confident, and kinda haunting after it’s over. Not flashy—just really, really effective.

Don't get me wrong, everyone is great in it, I love the subversion of Emily Blunt's role and the fact you can debate who was right in what they were doing, parts are captivating, it was really good just... I expected "this is amazing, best Villeneuve movie ever" and I came away going "Prisoners was easily better than that."
