- ርልዪረ2025年9月26日This is an amazing film, even though it's been criticized for knocking off Finding Nemo. I will admit that I don't find it a coincidence that it takes place underwater just like the Pixar film, but the stories for each movie are very different when you think about it. Oscar is the main character in this film, and unlike Marline and Dory who search for a lost fish, Oscar lies to reef and becomes famous for slaughtering a shark. And unlike Finding Nemo, this film the characters actually act as if they're humans since the reef is an underwater city. I also love how Oscar teams up with Lenny and they act as if they're fighting. At the end of the movie when Oscar has a near death experience when Leno-the main antagonist-almost kills him. While he didn't slay Leno, Oscar did technically save the reef since he convinced the sharks not to attack and even became friends. This movie I personally think deserved better, I will say it's not as good as other DreamWorks films like Shrek, Megamind, Madagascar, Monsters vs. Aliens, or Over the Hedge, but it's still interesting. The only thing in particular that I don't like about Oscar are his lips. They seem very big and shiny, but besides that, he's a solid DreamWorks character to me.
