- ርልዪረ2025年4月12日I'm not a big fan of the Horror genre, but I did really like this movie. As a big sci-fi fan I was attracted to this from the main actors. It was a bit predictable and cliché at points there were actual surprises. Check the extras after the movie. James Marsters is a very talented actor that I have had the pleasure to meet at a con. Very nice and personable. Tony Todd is brilliant, has been all over the genre scene both horror and sci-fi. Joline Blalock is very talented as well as gorgeous. The others in the cast did a good enough job, esp the swimming girl. Highly recommended for fans of the actors or of the horror genre.
- jackmeat2025年5月12日My quick rating - 5.1/10. As I said, mediocre. I will say this, "Woke up not knowing who or where I am" flick really had something going for it. The moment I lost interest, they threw just enough at me to bring me back in. Well, that is what this one is, btw. People begin waking up in brightly lit psychiatric rooms (can I still call them rubber rooms, or has PC got their hands on that term as well?) and have to piece together who they are while trying to figure a way out. The environment they are in doesn't do much to clue them in either, but whatever is going on, everyone but them seems to have been killed. As they investigate around the facility, they encounter an evil force that looks quite silly with intention of killing them. Aside from the goofy entity roaming around, the camera work is really quite good. Acting left a bit to be desired, though. The moment there is some good in this, it turns around with blatant stupidity. Not going to go into specifics since the story this does end up telling was enough to get my attention. How they pieced together who they were before made the movie a bit more fun as well. Like I said, they throw the crumbs at the right times. The computer thing in this one is so bad it angers me, but not everyone will care about that part. Good late-night flick if it pops up on FX or SyFy, but I wouldn't go hunting it down. Oh, Tony Todd....that streak continues, average remains his body of work outside of Candyman. RIP Mr. Todd.
