After an aging voodoo priestess dies her arrogant son, Willis Daniels, believes that he is next in line to lead her cult. He is outraged when Lisa Fortier, his mother's adopted apprentice and his stepsister, is chosen as the cult's leader. Willis seeks revenge by reviving the vampire African Prince Mamuwalde, a.k.a. Blacula, but he soon finds, much to his horror, that he cannot control him.
