- MR_BigTime2026年5月24日There's a number of fails anyone could accuse Rock Star of, and likely be right. But this is a movie I come back to every once in a while and enjoy it like it's the first time. The awesome 80s music, the cheesiness of it all, everything. And that's something only a movie deserving of five stars in my book could ever achieve.

This epic film started out as a Judas Priest biopic but they soon distanced themselves from it. Too bad because this is a great movie if you lived thru this musical decade. Definitely had its haters but I freaking love this movie. Fantastic band to support Mark on stage including Zakk Wilde. Gimme blood!!

It carries the familiar rise-and-fall energy of a music biopic, but sidesteps real history in favor of pure fiction, which gives it a surprisingly refreshing edge. Drop a modern star like Austin Butler into this kind of role, release it today and it would absolutely find its audience. I chuckled when they played "Good Vibrations" during the credits.
