- acehigh792026年1月26日Pools is a fun romp following a group of college friends during a summer adventure. It's fun until it's not.....*spoilers ahead...* The plot falls apart when Michael and Kennedy find themselves alone at the house. He is motivating for her helping her unlock her musical potential and write her hit song. This would have been fine....but it drags on for 35 minutes leaving the audience to wonder what happened to the rest of the cast. I'm biased here but Ariel Winter is my favorite actress! She's so cute, sexy, and witty. Seeing her in a sundress and bikini for her screen time is so sexy 😍 🥵. The 35 minute lull suffered because Ariel wasn't on screen. Overall it is a fun watchable film.

Man I miss the community and camaraderie of college lol ugh Whimsical little film. What beautifully caring people! lol Clearly an early effort but still a pleasant romp! Some strong humor! Another modern The Swimmer. Only less metaphorical and for young adults. And better than The Surfer lol Goofy, quirky, and cute. The camerawork style is bold and seems a little amateur but I loved it? (for the most part at least!) Watched at Warren Regal East
- Emily Downer2025年9月7日Vlamis the air conditioning king of Chicago! I love a good breakfast club reference and this movie has that all over the place. It has that John Hughes feel to it and I’m obsessed. I love how this was shot! The classic zoom in shots were perfect. Odessa A’zion played Kennedy and she is all of us in this coming of age dramady. She is struggling with who she was and who she wants to be . I loved all the scenes with the cast running havoc through the pools and houses. But I really adored Michael and Kennedy’s relationship towards the end. Not only is he a hot AC guy from Chicago, but he has words of wisdom. Nothing matters and maybe that’s the point, we want what we want, right now! The director Sam Hayes said “this film is about learning to let go and be exactly who you are right now.” Amazing message and a beautiful coming-of-age film. I loved every second of it. Odessa has a voice of an angel.
