- Richard2025年10月5日Saw it on TV back in the '80s, and later grabbed the DVD. It’s campy, sure, but it’s got that old school monster movie charm that never really fades. Back then, catching this on TV felt like stumbling onto something weird and wonderful. The creature suit was clunky, the acting stiff and the sets obviously studio-bound, but none of that mattered. It had atmosphere. That underwater footage? Still kind of mesmerizing. And the Gill-Man himself, rubber zippers and all, was iconic in his own way. You didn’t watch it for realism. You watched it because it felt like a monster movie should. If you grew up watching this kind of stuff, it’s more than just a movie, it’s a mood.
