- jameseglavin42025年11月24日Easily one of the best ‘culture’ movies exploring racial dynamics, policing and gentrification of the 21st century… also just incredibly entertaining, mixing dynamic editing, tight storytelling, solid humor and hip-hop elements to deliver something much larger than the sum of its parts. I feel like this is a must-watch for anyone who wants to begin to have an idea of the black experience in modern America. I really wish there was more to get from these two creators but this movie, as a singular piece of work, is an absolute gem.

Director Carlos Lopez Estrada makes you feel the tension, and helps you to understand a feeling of helplessness. But it's a truly special movie that makes you feel not only the anger of their circumstance, but also the amount of control required to overcome it.
