- hairydemon2025年11月7日Sometimes it is not good to exhume the corpses of the past. A strange 80s racist tract that leaves a bad taste in the mouth, even though it looks gorgeous. Ridley revisits his Blade Runner inspirations for real, but all the Western protagonists are rather vile, and he makes the Japanese counterparts naive and stupid. Grubby.

Douglas as the cocky, fish out of water using his 'questionable street nouse', Garcia's innocent and naive younger partner, come up against the 'straight by the book' Japanese honour system in policing. This is one to watch before you die, and should be on everybody's bucket list. They just don't make enough films with this kind of atmosphere anymore, particularly in relation to what becomes of Garcia.
