This is the very definition of a “stag do goes wrong” sex comedy, ticking off every beat you’d expect with very little interest in doing anything new with them. Loud lads, bad decisions, escalating chaos, and jokes that land just often enough to stop the whole thing collapsing entirely. To be fair, it’s not the worst thing you’ll ever watch. The cast mostly understands the assignment, the pacing keeps things moving, and there are one or two moments that might raise a tired smirk if you’re in the right mood. But that’s about as far as it goes. There’s no bite, no surprise, and certainly no wit lurking beneath the surface. This is disposable viewing in the purest sense — something you half-watch while scrolling, or leave on because it doesn’t demand anything from you. And that’s fine, as long as expectations are set firmly at ground level. Don’t expect Shakespeare. Don’t even expect a clever twist on the formula. Just expect noise, familiarity, and jokes you’ve heard before — often done better elsewhere. 🍺 A warm lager at the end of a long night — drinkable, forgettable, and not something you’d ever seek out twice.
