It’s not a traditional horror movie. it’s an existential meditation on love, time, loss, and what remains after we’re gone. The stillness is intentional. The silence is intentional. It can get under your skin. The image of the ghost itself, simple and almost absurd at first, becomes heartbreaking as you realize how trapped and powerless it truly is. The film captures grief in a way that feels painfully real. Not dramatic, not loud, but heavy, Beautiful film, and Bravo to Casey Affleck. His performance was moving...

I love how bare this movie is, you remove the dramatic songs and dazzling lighting because you want to feel the moment as if you were there not like a viewer after the fact. Not to say there isn't any music, it's powerful strings and you guessed it haunting chords that sound hopeful but strained. Beautiful camerawork to make the scene feel congested or open or busy, never a moment of wasted visual space. Ah and the ending I can't even touch on, you'll just have to trust that it has an ending and it's worth it. I think this is going up to my top 10.

- sav2026年4月8日Went into it blind and it was the perfect combo of Skinamarink pacing with A Dog's Purpose storyline. Sad, a bit unintentionally funny at still moments, and sorrowful. Beautifully tragic & slow paced, some shots to me are paced out too long but some needed it to be for that feeling. The neighbour ghost finally letting go & the Pie Scene really got me out of those moments of stillness. I also luv'd the aspect ratio, the closedness of this was very fitting and felt visually suffocated by the grief. They portrayed the mourning & guilt so perfectly even without words, Im not gonna lie I did almost cry. I dock points for that musty mansplaining hippie at the party with big pit stains and the music throwing me out of the story a bit...because I can! Also I WANTED TO SEE THE NOTES BRO! In close, I think this film is very beautifully shot and written, the shots were very well planned and meaningful to the story.
- mizelle72026年2月21日it starts off slow and then tragedy strikes. After that this movie actually went straight downhill. I got to about 29 minutes before i realized that I had just actually spent 5 minutes watching her eat a pie while a man in a sheet with eyes cut out watched her. Not worth my time continuing with something that wasn't very realistic so was unable to connect to the characters.
