- Jurassic World: RebirthThe big time jump was a surprise that i loved. With that alone as the main gimmick I would have loved this movie a lot but they kept with the idea they think fans want which is made up monsters. I just want dinosaurs but like raptors with feathers. The funny part is if they hadnt done the fake dinosaurs in other movies then this return to an island with a horror perspective plus new creepy looking dinosaur would have been something to be excited about. Really the best part is the water scenes since it was dinosaurs we never spent a lot of time with in an environment we hadnt spent a lot of time in.Jurassic World: Rebirth
- Rugrats in ParisA clear example of aging well with its safe humor but still being funny and real for parents/ older crowds, its just good fun.Rugrats in Paris
- Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-VixensRuss Meyer liked huge boobs and psychedelic visuals; the horny humor from this era are normally enough to keep me watching but for me this was a tough watch because it was just not funny (so much has changed about concent and the sex faces were pretty cringe even then) also the age comments made me physically cringe... why the fuck was the 2nd dude 14 Im still giving the genre a shot but nothing has hit what I want which is Airplane but with nudity.Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-Vixens
- 28 Years LaterFirst let down was this does not feel like a sequel to the 2nd film and that's a bummer. Second let down was I think this movie tries to be smarter than it is especially with the shit writing. Third major let down was the editing like the quick cuts and old scenes spliced into the new footage, it all looked cheap to save money or not in line with how the rage virus quick edits had been handled before. I knew this would happen because you cant let people hype a movie up in their minds for so long and hope to live up to the expectations, if this came out even 5 years after the first two I think it would have suffered the same as the 18 year gap we are dealing with now. But componding with the weird choices made and the not explained mutating in any reasonable way makes this movie feel bad to watch. As a huge fan out Resident Evil i was laughing to myself thinking this feels like an attempt to make their films. Its got the feel of a Paul Anderson movie to match 😂28 Years Later
- Happy GilmoreIn the insane Sandler-verse this is my second favorite behind Big Daddy.Happy Gilmore
- Happy Gilmore 2It feels like a perfect sequel even keeping the same humor and delivery. I just dont find it as funny as I did when I was 15.Happy Gilmore 2
- Space JamI love the format of animation next to live action. This is my favorite of the genre and its drenched in nostalgia so it gets a 5 star rating, but then the dated CGI and child acting knock it down to 4.5 stars.Space Jam
- Club DreadOne of the best spoof movies and oddly not a lot of people talk about it. Thank God I got to watch this as a kid so I could remember to rewatch it as an adult to get the jokes.Club Dread
- BallerinaI haven't seen this much immolation I think ever outside of some WW2 films. This movie fits right snug into the world we've been shown so far. They even take the effort of showing where her story has tied into the main story over the years. Fun and worthwhile like expected. I hope they keep the quality all while introducing splitting stories. I dont need a multiverse but just keeping it fresh as we go.Ballerina
- M3GAN 2.0Major shift in tone and anyone that says this is better should just admit they dont like horror. Feels like a 1.5 not a 2.0 because its not better its just different. The biggest accolades to Ivanna Sakhno for playing Amelia so perfect that its disturbing and thrilling to watch her. On the opposite side of that Megan played by Jenna Davis got notably worse, their acting was good but the lines they were given coupled with being given worse direction left a shell of the original performance. Megan was clearly meant to be funny but because humor around younger gen slang or trends will always age like milk even by the time its released compared to when they filmed i dont think this will be a rewatch worthy film unless I want to cringe. The worst taste this movie left in my mouth was the social media posts from the producers about "going back to true horror in the third movie if we do well enough"... I don't care if youre selling out but I care when you are this pathetic about it.M3GAN 2.0
- M3GANWhen I say I like weird horror this is what I normally mean. Sci-fi themes with the tormented creator trope and sprinkling in as much gore as PG-13 will allow, with just a touch of humor. We've seen it before but when you keep it fresh with amazing childhood acting I have to give it the review it deserves.M3GAN
- The Invention of LyingIt's not a laugh riot, it's not even good the whole time. But it does have a really important message. The Invention of Lying
- Small SoldiersA movie that shows capitalism and military propaganda in the most real form majority of us have experienced, toy sales. As an adult its so on the nose its hard to believe as a kid it didn't sink in, no big surprise that some of the people in here went on to keep being big deals or got a career.Small Soldiers
- Momentary LilySo beautiful and not what I was expecting. A fight almost every episode, characters change and feel meaningful, there are twists and turns to the story. Worth checking out and dispite everything I said the series did feel slow at times.Momentary Lily
- The RehearsalFirst season was funny and a humor that I enjoy which can make you uncomfortable also. Season two is more where life and art meet. It's meant to push past your ideas of comfort or rules or something else for the participants, making you think about something you normally wouldn't on a day to day.The Rehearsal
