Perfect 10/10 anime. Everything about it is great. The music, the characters, the animation, and story are some of the best in all of fiction. The plot twists are great, the inner monologues are great, and the suspense is immaculate. Even both intros are great. This also gave us one of the best anime music scores in history, the L no instrumental. Also the way they handle genius characters is perfect. Many shows have the problem where the writers write characters smarter than them and don’t know how to write that, but every single decision made by all of the genius characters such as L, light, mello, and near are perfect. They never make out of character decisions and they are also very consistent on their intelligence. Last thing, I love how they didn’t fully explain tye mythology in the show. We know there is apparently a heaven and hell and we also know there are gods of death that have a king, but beyond that it is left up to interpretation. To put it in simple terms, it’s really good.
