He is simply superb as the burned out teacher whose glib, moral corner cutting accidentally led him to place where he chose strip down and start again. Presented with an opportunity wiggle out of bad situation he makes a difficult and dangerous choice. Stephen Graham also makes the inevitable bad choice, with full knowledge of the inevitable result. As usual, he turns in an astounding performance. Look for baddie Tommy hunter from Line of Duty, among others. This is a superb limited series with magnificent performance values, pacing, and enough violence to remind you of the brutal reality and unending damage the criminal justice system imposes on everyone - including crime victims. Must watch!
