Roy och Moss är två socialt inkompetenta datornördar som sköter IT-supporten på Reynholm Industries. De lever ett lugnt liv nere i källaren på företaget där ingen stör dem. Allt förändras när tjejen Jen söker jobb på Reynholm vilket leder till att företagets galne chef Douglas anställer henne som chef över IT-supporten, trots att hon inte kan något alls om datorer.

- ርልዪረ13 mars 2025The I.T Crowd, such a simple set-up used to great effect, 2 nerds and one 'expert' people person in a big office building full of people who can't use a computer... Simple yet Effective. The Actors aren't exactly well known, it's filmed for Channel Four which nobody watches anymore, and the whole thing does have that slight 'budget' feel, but i like that, it shows what real talent is! Every episode is filled with witty one liners and clever jokes, and also moments of awkwardness which in my opinion are absolutely hilarious. Like the time when Roy is trying to convince a successful school friend that he isn't a window cleaner. After shouting he isn't a window cleaner!!! very loudly next to a window cleaner, he then phones his friend, tells him he works in I.T, and then goes on to say he doesn't work with Macs, He works with Windows!!! Brilliant!!! Anyone who is looking at this review, please, buy this!!! for the price there is nothing better... Channel four has never had such a successful and entertaining show!
- prosewall−18 hThere are few shows that can reliably leave me laughing out loud, and in stiches. Even fewer that can do so on repeat viewings - even when you know what is coming. This is one of them. Full of so many iconic moments that enter almost pythonesque levels of excellence and equal in humour immortality. Just a mention of an iconic moment for any of the shows with someone also in the know will lead to long conversations at the water cooler and mimicing renditions. Set includes so many geeky elements of all sorts of tech from the 70's onwards hiding in the background, and the IT geeks out there will love the various references and t-shirts with hilarious 'IT in-the-know" geek humour. From the mind of Graham Linehan of 'Father Ted' fame, with excellent renditions of the flawed charcters by Chris O'Dowd, Richard Ayoade, Catherine Parkinson and Noel Feilding. Don't delay - get watching. Comedy Par Excellence.

The characters are memorable, the antics they get into are absurd, and above all, it's addictive. Definitely one of the funniest British sitcoms I've watched. Highly recommend it!

Set deep in the fluorescent underbelly of a faceless corporation, it follows three social misfits who keep the company’s systems running — and its executives blissfully ignorant. Moss, Roy, and their technologically illiterate manager Jen form the unlikeliest trio in television history, endlessly trapped between malfunctioning computers and malfunctioning social lives. The show’s genius lies in its simplicity: awkward people, awkward situations, and the unending comedy that comes from trying to explain the obvious to those who will never get it. One of the best examples is when the team hands their manager a black box with a blinking light and tells her it’s “the internet”. She proudly parades it through the office — a perfect metaphor for corporate tech understanding everywhere. The humour is razor-sharp, proudly British, and delightfully deadpan. It thrives on irony and understatement — the sort of humour that doesn’t need explaining (and loses all its charm when it is). The American remake tried to clone it line for line — even keeping Richard Ayoade as Moss — but British wit is like Marmite: you either get it or you really don’t. Between Roy’s perpetual exasperation, Moss’s glorious eccentricity, and Jen’s blind optimism, The IT Crowd nails the beautiful chaos of the workplace. It’s a love letter to nerds, introverts, and anyone who has ever sighed while muttering, “Have you tried turning it off and on again?” ☕ Pairing: A mug of instant coffee gone cold — forgotten mid-debug, revived mid-laugh.
