- attilahliva4 april 2025Absolutely powerful series. The dramaturgy is almost perfect, every scene carries weight. Billy Bob Thornton is phenomenal, but the supporting cast is outstanding too. I enjoyed every minute – I haven’t seen something this intense in a long time. The visuals and music perfectly support the atmosphere. The characters are deep and authentic – which is rare these days. Each episode leaves something behind. From now on, Billy Bob Thornton is among the greatest for me.

The series does a good job with the drama and intrigue that goes on with the oil business and Thornton brings along his likability and polarizing charm. Along for the ride is the ageless beauty Ali Larter who plays Thornton’s crazy ex-wife, Jon Hamm who plays Thornton’ tough as nails boss, and the always sensational Demi Moore.
