Where to Watch If Wishes Could Kill
- macaronz−17 hJust finished If Wishes Could Kill. The whole 'granting wishes with terrible consequences' concept is not fresh, but this show tries to spice it up with an Insidious franchise vibe. Honestly, the amazing VFX made the first few episodes really fun to watch. Show maintains a solid element of suspense throughout, paired with a light sprinkle of comedy that genuinely lands. Unfortunately, my interest fizzled out by the final episodes, and I only pushed through to see how it ends. The excessive blood and gore also felt a bit desensitizing after a while. It’s far from being one of the best K-dramas out there, but it remains a visually strong series that was ultimately ruined by trying too hard to deliver a 'different' ending.
