Ellen Rutter is a Canadian production manager and producer, and a member of the Directors Guild of Canada Manitoba District Council (DGC-MDC). She is an experienced senior-level instructor and mentor, having taught across multiple Film Training Manitoba (FTM) programs and regularly mentoring Manitoba film professionals to support skills development within the industry. Rutter serves on the board of directors of Film Training Manitoba and is an active contributor to industry dialogue, including her role as moderator and co-chair of SWIFT’s The Art of the Film Trades panel discussions.
