- Cubane7 augusti 2025Is this movie just copium for gen x who peaked in high school? Other than the music, which is awesome, the rest of the movie is just a bingo board of Hollywood coming of age tropes. You've got a bunch of ripped 28 year olds playing high schoolers, a love story as wooden as handmade Amish furniture, and a predictable sports arc that still feels 20 minutes too long. It would've been way better if Louden realized he liked dudes better while he was getting his foreplay on in the ring.
