- alexvla83 december 2025No idea what everyone’s whining about. One of the best mindbender x film noir thrillers I’ve ever seen. I think it comes down to a) everyone wants Jim Carrey to do pet detective over and over and they can’t accept him doing a serious role. B) a lot of people who don’t watch mind-benders and thrillers stumbled on this movie but would’ve been much better off watching John wick 7 or whatever

- "THE MOVIE FANATIC"16 april 2026I've never understood the hate this movie got...The Number 23 is a very interesting & fascinating take on an individuals whole psyche. And I thought the whole theme & message of the film was very effective. I also loved how the films overall tone & colour pallete...it really matches with the films whole narrative. Visually this film is gorgeous to look at, along with its slick cinematography and very good lighting. It also has really good atmosphere as well!!!! Also Jim Carrey is excellent as Walter Sparrow and really gives it his all here and Virginia Madsen is always charming love her. The Number 23 has to be one of the most under apprciated movies of the 2000's!!!! I've always thought it was awesome and I still have it on DVD 📀 to this day. So my Ratings/Scores for The Number 23 is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ & a 10/10
