Djävulen bär Prada 2 Ratings & Reviews
- Mikey Smith4 maj 2026Stanley Tucci for president.
- Anna Hryhorenko−4 dNot bad for ending this story. Twenty years later, fashion has collapsed after the most fashionable decade of the 2000s. Many people didn't like this version. But I think it's quite logical. Not everything in this world is eternal.
- hea1h−6 dHmmm ok ok ok, was it really needed? I mean no but it definitely could’ve been worse. Do I think Anne Hathaways acting got worse somehow in this? yes. It’s giving like Disney fairytale vibes???? a little bit predictable, nothing that wowed apart from the surprise artist at the end which was cool. Same quippy jokes, regurgitated, not horrible but not exactly extremely refreshing. Very much being relatable to the whole AI crap. Do I really understand the plot line? No. Would it have worth been understanding? Also probably, no. Fine, but really just leave a classic alone. There’s no way it could’ve been done better so it just feels like, what, another chance to get a new generation in on it. Make it relatable to AI and make some more money because it’s obvious - Quite literally everyone will see this even if it is bad/mediocre. Shame really. They’ve also given opening for a third now. Let’s hope not. I think it distracts from a masterpiece. I miss a meaner, more forceful Miranda, a pry into her life. Not all of them ‘saving the day’ just like any other super hero movie.
- Ernesto Rodríguez−7 dWay deeper than I expected 👠🔥 This movie isn’t just about fashion anymore… it’s about power, ego, influence, and how people almost worship status in modern society. Miranda still controls every room she walks into, but now the movie mixes fashion with media, technology, ambition, and even religious/artistic symbolism. Stylish, smart, and surprisingly philosophical at times. 👠 Powerful performances 🧠 Deeper message underneath the glamour 🔥 Miranda still runs the world ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- Ana3 maj 2026Watched for the clothes and wasn’t disappointed
- James−4 dGreat Follow Up. Really enjoyed this film, highly recommend if you're a fan or the first film.
- Jillian Broek2 maj 2026"Miranda hangs up her own coat now?" I knew nothing would come close to the original so for all intents and purposes, the movie was great. I understand why Miranda couldn't be the Miranda from the first film but I felt myself craving more "that's all" and "gird your loins" moments. They did a good job of taking what could have been a storyline all on its own - layoffs in the time of consolidation and AI - and put it in The Devil Wear's Prada world. All in all, if you loved the first, this film feels like some much needed nostalgia and fun closure.
- cultfilmliker4 maj 2026Controversial opinion: Emily did nothing wrong (Abusive) bosses should be put down (read: CEOs) The “body negative” line made me punch the air Currently Ranked #24/64 in 2026 Ranked Added to The Cinema That Never Sleeps
- Vinicius3 maj 2026So good as the first one.
- johnrodan2 maj 2026Intersection of looksmaxing and workmaxing
- Oʂɯαʅԃσ Rσყҽƚƚ2 maj 2026This is a glossy and mostly entertaining film, if a little shallow in terms of story and depth. However, there is a well-written script, that sometimes borders toward predictability, and nice camera-work, not to mention the fashionable costumes.
- James Saenz30 april 2026“you were never a visionary… you’re a vendor.“ as far as legacy sequels go, it’s pretty solid. it suffers from some of the same nostalgia-bait trappings that are typical of legacy sequels, but they’re mostly harmless and don’t quite hurt the experience. the only one that really initially bothered me was the shot of the “spring florals” collection banners in the first act, but after seeing how defanged miranda priestly’s character has become in this modern landscape it made sense for the narrative. the lighting feels like a car commercial at times, and i personally am not a fan of the proliferation of the close up shot-reverse shot that’s plagued modern filmmaking, but there’s still enough of ballhaus’ signature style that he’s carried from the original film into this one. the narrative is also kind of clunky, especially in the beginning where it tries to find its rhythm and shuffles conceits to have all of these characters interact again, but its core message about the depreciation of respect for the arts, from writing to fashion, negatively impacts not just those directly involved with the art process but the culture and society as a whole. the zeitgeist of the modern landscape is colder and impersonal and oftentimes apathetic, propelled by corporatized downsizing and greed and the pervasive need to morph all personality into unremarkable millennial grey. i see that ethos in the cinematography and appreciate it, even if i don’t find it as visually appealing as the original’s. these are characters that i am deeply attached to, and even if this film could never live up to or compete with the original, what’s presented is still engaging and touching and i had a swell time at the cinema. plus the music is just as stellar as before.
- Alessandro Luca Cremasco30 april 2026Sequel to a breathtaking one-of-a-kind cover, this second one represents what every sector is going through today in the world of work: an increasingly important presence of social media, representing advantages, but also and above all non-obvious problems that every worker in any field must face.
