Tarantella is based on Dorfman's The Death and the Maiden. It tells the story of Nabil who is driving back home. In his way, he mysteriously finds a sick woman on a donkey. Her husband begs Nabil to help them reach the nearest health center for curing his wife's tarantula's bite. After that, Nabil's car breaks down. A passing by driver gives a lift to Nabil. It happens that the driver spends the night in Nabil's, but Bouthaina, Nabil's wife, hits the guest and a series of complicated, mysterious, and esoteric suspicions start.
