Neeson and Fiennes, masters of their craft, both showcase their capabilities. Schindler, a complicated character torn between loyalty for the fatherland and his morality, is brought to life by Neeson while Fiennes portrays Amon Goeth, an unrepentant, hedonistic psychopath who finds purpose and meaning in Nazism. Together they bring to us the extraordinary story of one man's refusal to just stand by and watch.
- Jay Marie Bailey15 april 2026I watched it around the time of its release in 93 but I didn't really get it (was only in my early 20s) was too slow paced for me at that time of my life. Now watching it I realise it is such a well made film from such tragic events, Oskar such a hero Cast, directing, score & the fact it is in B&W makes this one of the greatest movies of all time in my opinion but not one that I care to revisit very often because of the difficult content
