Schindler var medlem av nazistpartiet, men när han såg hur judarna behandlades i koncentrationslägren tog han ställning och använde hela sin förmögenhet för att köpa tillbaka judiska arbetare och därmed rädda dem undan döden i Auschwitz.

- Jay Marie Bailey−2 dI watched it around the time of its release in 93 but I didn't really get it (was only in my early 20s) was too slow paced for me at that time of my life. Now watching it I realise it is such a well made film from such tragic events, Oskar such a hero Cast, directing, score & the fact it is in B&W makes this one of the greatest movies of all time in my opinion but not one that I care to revisit very often because of the difficult content
