- PhysicalMedia4Life19 juli 2026This is a poorly made sequel and doesn't deserve to be classed as a sequel to Mel Gibsons 1995 masterpiece!!! Yes "Angus Macfayden" reprises his role as "Robert The Bruce" and does just as good of a job as he did, when he played that part in Braveheart! It's still not enough to carry this so called sequel; because everything else about it is very very poor. This looks like a really low budget TV movie at best. There's little to no action. I was bored the entire 2 hours watching this. Don't bother watching this sequel, it has none of the magic or spark that Braveheart had. There's not even a hint of it, there's barely anything here. I'm not a fan of Gladiator 2 but I would watch that a 100 times over this a 💯 The only reason why I gave it a one star rating was for Angus Macfayden. He does everything he can with the material he was given to work with! I don't like ranting on movies, but "Braveheart" is in my Top 25 favourite movies of all time. I absolutely love that film. Which was why, I was so disheartened & annoyed by this sequel. They should have given us something a lot better than this.
