- theLillyPad19 januari 2026Too many ideas and not enough people in the writing room who were willing to shoot them down. Each idea on its own (a Predator survivor, and team of hunters, an enhanced Predator, killers from around the world instead of a unified team, an alien planet, and some twists I would rather not reveal here), are great. But they all compete for attention and make the movie less than the sum of its parts, and no idea is given a chance to truly breathe. Likewise, this movie contains a handful of controversial castings. I think most of them work, but not the main brooding protagonist (Adrien Brody). But, your response may vary. At the end of the day, the first half is stronger than the second half, and overall its an enjoyable watch. Some great kills, some great acting and characters. Just watching how these characters walk together in wideshots tell you their dynamics. Its the heart of the film and very well done.

- old_computer17 januari 2026When the studio takes control of a failing franchise and sprinkles in cringy comic book tropes and ridiculously disconnected stereotypes. Pretending like Adrian Brody is an "action" star was a stretch but everyone is awkwardly utilized in their typecast role and the Predators are comically just a mild inconvenience.

- Junior Reyes13 augusti 2025I liked the movie but felt is was really rushed. It would've been better to reel it out in a longer frame. Good cast, good acting, as you'd expect. I'm gonna keep it but felt like there was a lot of meat on the bones. Not sure why so much of the story involves humans fighting Predators when they're so interesting and so much material could be extracted from the aliens and what they are going through- I think it's what ALL the films have missed. Humans should be a subcontext in the story, not the source material. Anywho, good flick.

- Richard Davis4 november 2025A solid 4 *'s. This is the sequel that the 1987 Arnie original deserved after the failure of Predator 2 and the AVP mess. It's an interesting evolution of the story, with great battle action and interesting new characters / players, with a good twist at the end. If you liked the original, you will likely really like this as well as Prey, the most recent prequel.

Where many action movies mistake dominance for proficiency, this one pushes back, suggesting that real competence lies in recognizing when you’re outmatched and adjusting without ego or illusion.
