Roy och Frank är mycket skickliga och framgångsrika på brott i det lilla formatet. De är bondfångare, svindlare och skojare. Roy är veteran när det gäller lurendrejerier av allehanda slag. Frank är hans äregiriga skyddsling. Roys privatliv är emellertid inte lika framgångsrikt. Han är en tvångsneurotiker av stora mått och dessutom kedjerökare. The hustle and vibe push this one higher for me. Cage hones a neurotic character. Lohman is charming. Plus Rockwell throws some moves.

One of my Favorite Nick Cave films. Tho you kinda already know what’s going to happen halfway thru the relationship between the father and estranged daughter. Still it’s a decent watch. Plus I always love a good Ridley Scott film.

It might be because I’m a newer dad, but this movie was deeply affecting. I found myself cheesing and frowning through the ups and downs of the father/daughter dynamics. A really fair portrayal of OCD as well. I wish Alison Lohman would come out of retirement, because she is such a magnetic force on screen. Held her own with the legend Nic Cage. Ridley Scott, for all his action acumen is a phenomenal melodramatic storyteller. I highly recommend this film!

I love movies with a twist, and this was a good one. An older movie, but it has aged well. Great cast. Good storyline. Definitely worth watching. This is not a really family friendly movie though. This would probably make a good movie for a date night.

Not just a con. It is heartbreak beyond compare. Fabulous performances while showing both the ruthlessness and gullibility of society.

I saw a twist coming at the end, but the film continued to double down on it long after I was expecting a fold. The real con was probably the friends we made along the way, or something.
