- Scott12 januari 2025"Does [the past] belong to everyone? Or does it belong to no one?" is the most essential question this movie asks indiscriminately to both Arthur and the audience. A movie that makes me wish I had depth of any sort in Italian history. And even though I don't this movie has such powerful vibes I was inescapably drawn in anyways.

Fuck Spartaco! Mad they apparently got away with it! Sealed the 4.5 rather than a 5 lolol

Alice Rohrwacher crafts a dreamlike, wandering narrative that feels both weightless and deeply textured, like sifting through soil in search of lost history. O’Connor is mesmerizing—there’s something feral about his performance, as you can almost smell the grime on his clothes and skin. Didn’t realize Isabella Rossellini was in this when I started it. She is such a lovely presence on screen and gives a terrific performance here. The film is visually stunning, a painterly meditation on longing, decay, and the ghosts of the past.
