- TheProdigalJoel1 juni 2025Kingpin is a classic cheeseball movie which everyone should watch at least once and if you haven't already where have you been?! For me, it's one of Woody Harrelson's best although I'm sure many would disagree. Without this film we wouldn't have got the likes of Dodgeball, Baseketball etc.
- Dave25 mars 2025Would have rated it higher but there was not one reference to a Monarchy of pins. No pins with crowns, no clearly established structure of pins with a hierarchy among them. Plus if I'm being honest I felt like there were entirely too many pins. Like if there was a Monarchy of pins established how could we possibly tell which on was king?!

Roy Munson (Woody Harrelson) hade en gång en lysande framtid som proffionell bowlingspelare. Men den sliskige Ernie McCracken (Bill Murray) ödelade hans karriär när han fick någon att stoppa Munsons hand i returmaskinen för bowlingkloten. Nu, 20 år senare, går det inte så bra för Munson. Herre gud, det är ju svårt att få ett jobb även om man har två händer. Så möter han Ishmael (Randy Quaid), en Amish som drömmer om att nå toppen i bowlingvärlden. Munson ser plötsligt en genväg tillbaka till det balla livet om han nu kan hjälpa Ishmael till toppen och själv ta hem massor av pengar på vägen. Men så dyker ett spöke från det förflutna upp, den osympatiske, nästan flintskallige och självsäkre Ernie McCracken.
