Miljonären John Du Pont är ornitolog, filatelist, filantrop, och enligt honom själv också brottningstränare. Han värvar OS-guldmedaljören Mark Schultz till sitt team, men saker tar oväntade vändningar.

- 0 117 september 2026Channing Tatum and Steve Carell's performances are impressive. They should of received more awards. While Mark Schultz has maintained that he threw his 1988 Olympic match (a 14–0 loss to Turkey's Necmi Gencalp) as a deliberate protest against John du Pont and USA Wrestling, the 2014 film Foxcatcher reinterprets this moment differently. Rather than showing a conscious political act, the movie depicts his defeat as the climax of an emotional breakdown driven by isolation, childhood trauma, and John du Pont’s toxic behavior. I'm not sure what's the true story. But the acting is excellent. I've been trying to find a Doc. or biography because Schutz' sports career was impressive.
- Cubane10 december 2025It's a wrestling movie that manages to not be super gay, which is quite rare. Unfortunately, it's still not very interesting. Paranoid, vain billionaire uses his wealth to LARP as a leader and hide from consequences. I feel like I've seen this one before. And you probably have too.
