- Rick Tracewell21 februari 2026I wrote a review of Fletch for my high school newspaper in 1985. I said this same general thing: If you go to a Chevy Chase movie expecting an Oscar worthy film, you need therapy. For an 80s comedy, the plot was clever, there were plenty of twists to keep you guessing, and best yet, tons and tons of classic Chevy Chase smart ass comments throughout. I've probably seen it four or five times over the years and it never disappoints. It still stands up.

I really liked this story, it feels like it could have starred Eddie Murphy, Sylvester Stallone or Mel Gibson in the 1980s, and it would have still been a great movie. And a big shout out to Faltermeyer, who does another brilliant soundtrack.

Ford28 december 2024Another favorite of mine...Great cop comedy.....Great cast....Great storyline....Chevy Chase got a chance to show some range acting wise....although still super hilarious....It's a "I need a good laugh..but I also wanna be into the movie" movie....So many catchphrase to steal from this one....

Fletch, baserad på en roman av Gregory McDonald, är en thriller som innehåller både mord och humor. Och där han använder sig av olika förklädnader i sina försök att ta reda på sanningen finner sig Fletch hotad, beskjuten, anklagad och arresterad. Och det av de människor som han försöker hjälpa!
