Where to Watch Argo
- Christopher Hirsch27 januari 2026Excellent film. Argo, a one legged transgender transfem ((she/it/what?) goes on a voyage to Iran in the 1970s. Not-Hispanic Hispanic Ben Afleck saves the day to help some queer spies with the help of Argo. I don’t usually like musicals, but the music from this film moved me to tears. Soundtrack features Ariana Grande, Cynthia Ervo, a man who identifies as a plant, and Cher.
- Cubane26 juli 2026While some factual details are fudged a bit for the movie, the history is surprisingly similar. Yeah, the Iranians actually fell for it. Just goes to show the CIA can bet it all on 13 black enough times and eventually it'll hit.
- Allan Vietmeier31 maj 2026One of the best Ben Affleck movies of all time. Great story about how our government is suppose to function.
- lauterzero10 december 2025this movie is so peak
- rbutler628515 maj 2026Great historical movie.
- jMac10 april 2026great movie! it was great to see american politicians, speaking highly about Canada!
- Adam Johnston25 mars 2026Very good , believable, thrilling in its own way. What happened to the other embassy staff though ? Unluggy I guess…
- flavo4323 november 2025Argo is one of those films that proves the old saying: truth can absolutely be stranger than science fiction. Instead of high-tech gadgets or thrilling shootouts, it shines a spotlight on the quieter, more creative side of espionage—the kind that relies on planning, nerve, and a bit of Hollywood magic. The idea that the CIA orchestrates coups in one office while, next door, another team is organizing an impossible rescue of American hostages using a fake movie production is both absurd and completely true. That’s what makes the story so fascinating. Ben Affleck does a great job bringing this unlikely operation to life, balancing tension, humour, and historical detail with a steady hand. The cast, including a wonderfully sardonic Alan Arkin and John Goodman, adds heart and levity without undercutting the stakes. Argo manages to be gripping, smart, and surprisingly entertaining—a testament to how remarkable real covert work can be when stripped of cliché.
- Nathan Magreta27 januari 2026Such an intense film with great acting, an amazing director, and an unbelievable true story that it makes seem so realistic.
- Taneem95822 oktober 2025One of the best movie hollywood ever produced!
- zaqcapone19 oktober 2025Can’t believe this won best picture over Django Unchained. Great story and good movie but Django is miles better.
- Roberto Hernando18 oktober 2025Orange TV
- Jeff14 oktober 2025Argo is a really fun movie that, yeah, fine, it takes liberties with the source material, sure. But it does so in the interest of making a tighter, more entertaining thing. It's thrilling in the right spots but isn't afraid to occasionally remind you of the comedy inherent to this ridiculous (but at least partially true) operation.
- mickerdoo2 juli 2025Tense, cool and creative. Incredible true story of an outlandish idea that actually worked. Stressful. Great cast and performances.
