I found this to be a pretty disappointing collection of short stories. As always with Shinkai movies, it's loaded with adorable details of the Japanese built environment and culture, but the stories themselves fail to get my buy-in. They're all pretty generic love stories. The first is a trite classic involving the effect distance has on relationships, the second is about a girl who wants a guy too busy on the grindset to reciprocate, and the third is like 30 seconds long and about a depressed salaryman or something. None of them seem to be worth the while.

Didn't like it the first time, because of bad feels. Second time it was a lot better because I knew what was going to happen and could actually think about it
