I really loved this series, and honestly, I would’ve loved to see it get picked up by Netflix. It felt like the kind of show that could’ve found a real second life there and grown into something even bigger. But at the same time, I doubt Paramount+ would’ve sold it, which is frustrating and confusing considering all the financial trouble they’ve had over the years. What really gets me is that Wolf Pack wasn’t canceled because people stopped watching. The viewership was there. The fanbase was loyal. The potential was obvious. It ended because of financial instability and failed deals Paramount was depending on, not because the story ran out of steam or the audience disappeared. That’s the part that hurts the most as a fan. The show never got a fair shot to fully become what it was clearly building toward. If Netflix had picked it up, I genuinely believe it could’ve thrived. They’ve proven time and time again that they know how to revive shows, expand their reach, and let creators finish what they started. Instead, we’re left with a story that ended too soon, not because it deserved to, but because of business decisions that had nothing to do with quality. And this is exactly why I hate watching shows sometimes. You get invested. You connect with the characters, the world, the story. You start imagining where it could go. Then out of nowhere, it’s canceled, and all that emotional investment just gets dropped with no payoff. What makes it even crazier is that Teen Wolf backed it. Paramount+ released Teen Wolf: The Movie alongside Wolf Pack, used it as one of the platform’s early foundation shows, and then canceled it like it didn’t matter. That decision still makes no sense to me. As a fan, it honestly feels wild.
