Homicide detective William Wisting struggles with the two toughest cases of his career. His serial killer investigation crosses paths with his journalist daughter's news story, putting her in grave danger.
Episode 1Wisting and his team are warned about a cruel crime scene in Larvik. The severed head of a young asylum seeker is found on a stake in the middle of the square. FBI agent Maggie Griffin returns to assist in the case.

Episode 3Maggie is forced to share information, which she has previously kept secret from Wisting. The investigation takes a whole new turn, and leads Wisting and Maggie on a new hunt across the border into Sweden.

Episode 4In Sweden, Maggie and Wisting finds a previous victim hiding under a false name. Together with the Swedish police they are dragged into a major police operation, but the case ends up back where it started, in Larvik.
