Season 1 is the highlight if you can manage to see this with the original TTS voice for Robot. S2 has some fun plots, it's just held back by the real human VA for Robot. Idk it's just a thing super noticeable by the fact that Robot is the main character, his dad and grandpa are also TTS, and his mom also being voiced, but much more professionally done. It's a weird thing that, once you notice it, you can't unnotice it. That all said, the 80's throwback with the animation is super cool. Very Coolhouse Rock-y. Rob Renzetti working on this is somehow not very surprising.
