Life is about to change in a big way for 16-year-old Tori Vega. After years of living in her older sister's shadow, Tori has been invited to attend Hollywood Arts, a high school with a focus on the performing arts. While the invitation came as a surprise -- she's never thought of herself as particularly talented -- and she still has to deal with being the new kid on campus, Hollywood Arts may just give Tori her chance to shine.

    PilotTori Vega gets the chance of a lifetime, after filling in for her sister's performing act, she is given the opportunity to attend the elite Hollywood Arts High School. However, fitting in proves difficult when she is targeted by Jade when she sees her with her boyfriend, which causes her to wonder if she truly belongs there.

    The Bird SceneTori finds out that everyone who attends Hollywood Arts must complete "The Bird Scene." So, she works hard on preparing the monologue for her drama class. Elsewhere, André and Robbie enroll in a ballet class to meet girls, but their plan backfires.

    Stage FightingTori gets a chance to perform an act of stage fighting, but things look bad for her when she gets paired up with Jade. However, when the two perform their scene, she encounters a problem when she is accused of deliberately hurting Jade during a fight scene. Meanwhile, Trina struggles with Robbie's constant displays of affection after an on-stage kiss.

    The Birthweek SongWhile struggling to find a birthday present for Trina(which for her is a whole week), Andre suggests that Tori gives her a song as a gift, and thanks to his help, the song turns out to be quite a fantastic one. Too bad Trina doesn't recognize the song itself as her present. Meanwhile Robbie suffers with his nagging grandmother's struggles to handle the internet and takes Cat along for moral support.

    Jade Dumps BeckWhen Beck is spotted by the paparazzi hanging out with a rich and popular young female celebrity, Jade become jealous and breaks up with him, and for some reason Tori finds herself caught between their lover's quarrel. Meanwhile, Trina is about to star in a Streisand-esque one-woman show that makes Legs Diamond look like Les Miserables, and demands that Robbie write a good review of her show on the school's website... or else!

However, Tori tells him that he can make it more interesting by uploading videos of his classmates' lives. Unfortunately, Robbie gets into trouble with his classmates when he goes too far.     Survival of the HottestA heat wave hits L.A. and Tori and the gang decide to go to Venice Beach to cool off. Beck volunteers to take everyone in his Airstream RV. Once there, Cat leaves to find a bathroom while the rest of the gang stay back to get their beach stuff ready. They try to leave but the vehicle door is blocked another RV, leaving them trapped in the unbearable heat. Meanwhile, Cat is hanging out with four boys, not knowing about the gang's horrible ordeal.

    Wi-Fi in the SkyTori and Trina are on a plane ride which is delayed, and keeps Tori from finishing a homework assignment for script writing class, so she agrees to work on the script through a video chat with the help of Beck, Andre, and Cat. Unfortunateley, all end up facing distractions during the assignment. Among these distractions, Andre has to deal with his crazed grandmother, Beck is distracted by the jealousy of Jade, Cat is distracted by the special effects on her computer, and Tori is distracted by a fight between Trina and a little boy who keeps kicking her back seat.

    Beck's Big BreakWhen Beck gets a part in a film, the lead actress fires him. Tori tries to get his role back. Andre gets upset when bees do not sting him. Robbie has trouble sleeping when he begins to have nightmares about Rex. Cat advises Robbie to speak to Lane about it.

    The Great Ping Pong ScamTori discovers that the group form a fake ping-pong team as a front. She discovers the truth about what really happens. A scam where they really go to a really expensive restaurant, but problems arise when they cannot pay the bill. They try to figure out how to get out of the dilemma.

    Cat's New BoyfriendTori discovers that Cat is dating her ex-boyfriend, Daniel. At first, Tori seems fine about it but as the relationship continues, it begins to get awkward and uncomfortable for Tori. As that happens, the rest of the group try out a way to smoothen their feet, thanks to Trina. Though, it comes with consequences.

    Freak the Freak OutCat and Jade get banned from a hip karaoke bar. Meanwhile, Tori nurses Trina after her wisdom teeth are removed.
  • Rex Dies

    Rex DiesRex gets damaged during a test rehearsal right before a play which leaves Robbie upset. The rest of the group decide to take Rex to the hospital in hopes of helping Robbie. While at the hospital, some nurses believe that Cat is mental and put her in the mental ward.
