Because the corpses that lie in the cellar cannot be concealed in the long run. When the mayor Arne Seidel invites the inhabitants to the village meeting, many still do not suspect, which abysses will open up in the so far peaceful village life: A lucrative wind farm is to be built not far from the lower classes, which Anne Pils, as representative of the wind turbine company, will present to the villagers at the meeting. While some of the villagers decide to take up the fight against the construction of the wind farm, the owners of the land in question are now beginning to vie for the tender and the profitable lease. Friends become enemies and vice versa.
