One of the killers is captured in a garage, but the other, an oily ladies' man, hides out a remote farm and woos its pretty, but gullible, owner.

BackfireTrio of hoodlums work with an inside man to steal the company gold. They immediately murder the inside man to prevent any linkage to him. The plan backfires when Morgan has a portrait reconstructed which establishes the link to the dead man.
