The four Twirlywoos - Great Big Hoo, Toodle-oo, Chickadee and Chick - have adventures both in the real world, and in their boat. They learn about a new concept each episode. Shy Peekaboo also lives on the boat, and joins in without the Twirlywoos knowing. The boat sometimes gets visitors, including the Stop Go Car and the Very Important Lady.

    Getting WetThe Twirlywoos are in a garden, where they watch a gardener watering plants. As she comes closer to them, they hide in a flowerbed. The hose runs through the flowerbed, and they all sit on it, stopping the flow of water!

    OutThe Twirlywoos help a painter make an unusual work of art, and the Stop-Go Car has something surprising coming out of its boot!

    DownThe Twirlywoos are in a park, where they watch a girl on rollerskates. She takes off the skates but accidentally kicks one so that it rolls away. Toodloo jumps on it and rolls away down the hill, and the other Twirlywoos follow.

    InsideThe Twirlywoos are at the seaside, where they see a man getting ready to go swimming. He has a beach tent, and they see him putting some things inside it. The Twirlywoos decide to put more of the man's things inside the tent.

    Going OverThe Twirlywoos are at an equestrian center, where they hide behind a fence and see a horse and rider practicing going over a jump. They are interested in the idea of going over, so they decide to jump over the fence.

    RollingRolling: The Twirlywoos are on top of a hill, where they watch a family with a picnic. The children are rolling down the hill. While they are away, the Twirlywoos decide to take things from the picnic and roll them down the hill too.

    CleaningCleaning: The Twirlywoos are outside a café, where they watch a man cleaning the window. Another man sits down at the table with his coffee, only for the window cleaner to drip soapy water into his cup!

    Louder and LouderLouder and Louder: The Twirlywoos watch a musician playing the drumst. He starts out playing softly, then gets louder until the Twirlywoos have to cover their ears. When he leaves, the Twirlywoos come out and start to investigate the drums.

    TurningTurning: The Twirlywoos are in a back garden, where they watch a boy riding his bike. When his mom calls him inside, Chickedy and Chick run out and jump on the pedals of the bike, causing the bike to start moving.
