Season 1

Dong Ju was an accountant of a leading company that took care of their secret funds. Dong Ju, who has experienced wealth and success, steps into the NTS following his father's death. Fully equipped with his brazen and crazy personality, he excels as a manager in Bureau Five. Oh Young and Seo Hye Young are his teammates in Bureau Five. Young and Dong Ju start things off with a bad start, but a special occasion brings the two together. Hye Young and Dong Ju have met before, and she has also had a connection with Young in the past. With her ability to act and with her intuition, Hye Young creates a good partnership with Dong Ju.

Episode 3As someone died while trying to tip Bureau Five off, Dong-joo and his team are determined to find out who is the betrayer. Dong-joo pulls a trick and blows the whistle on someone inside the NTS in front of the Commissioner at a meeting. A tax evasion case suddenly turns into an internal corruption investigation.

Episode 4Young learns about Dong-joo's father and Tae-joon's connection. He thinks that Dong-joo is trying to get on Tae-joon's side. Dong-joo looks for the car related to his father's death. A guy comes to report on a loan company called Gold Cash. Meanwhile, new chiefs of Bureau 3 and 5 are being appointed, and Commissioner Baek recommends Young as the Chief of Bureau 5.

Episode 5Among many candidates, Young becomes the Chief of Bureau Five. Though he became the chief, Young is still suspecting Dong-joo’s intentions. Dong-joo and Hye-young start the investigation on Gold Cash, and they find out that a lot of assault cases were occurring with its debtors. Inspection Department is after Dong-joo again, but he gets away again. Young asks Dong-joo why he came to NTS.

Episode 6Chief Lee pressures Dong-joo to cover up the Gold Cash case. Bureau Five decides to carry on with the investigation of the case despite the various attempts from others to throw them off. They find a strange connection between Gold Cash and a car wash company.

Episode 7Dong-joo gets suspended from his position after getting caught getting a loan deal done with Gold Cash. His team feels betrayed by his acts and their investigation of the Gold Cash case goes out of hand. Bureau Three joins in the investigation of the case.

Episode 8Dong-joo reveals Ki-dong and Bureau Four's connection with Gold Cash. However, Tae-joon returns the case back to Bureau Four. Dong-joo and the members of Bureau Five secretly follow Ki-dong to find the real sponsor of Gold Cash.
