Sixteen marksmen with various specialties and in various lines of work come together for a season long competition. They compete in both team and head-to-head competitions with a wide variety of modern and historical weapons. One shooter is eliminated from the competition in each program.

Wild, Wild WestTargets fly in an extreme shooting gallery; halfway through the competition a rule change forces contestants to start evaluating their own teammates.

Trick Shot ShowdownShooters attempt classic trick shots with three different guns; shooting behind the back with a mirror, shooting a nail into a board, and shooting a thrown object. In the elimination competitors shoot clay pigeons they throw themselves.
The Razor's Edge

The Razor's EdgeShooters switch from team to individual competition and every event is an elimination. The first challenge is to sever a fuse before it ignites an explosive. Then challengers climb to various platforms to shoot at targets with four different guns in a timed competition.
The Shortest Fuse

The Shortest FuseThe teams dissolve, as everyone competes for him or herself, and three people are ultimately sent home; In the first of two surprise challenges, everyone has to shoot a lit fuse sending the shortest fuse home.
Season Finale

Season FinaleIn the season finale, the final four contestants compete to determine the winner of the $100,000 prize and the title of Top Shot. In one of the challenges, for the first time, competitors will get to call the shots, challenge each other, and name their weapon and target. In the final challenge, two will face off in the most difficult challenge of the entire competition.
