    Jack on the LamA couple of FBI agents come to the apartment looking for Jack, when he wasn't there, they tell the girls it's in relation to someone he knew when he was in the Navy. At first Jack doesn't remember him, but he then remembers that the guy helped Jack get out of Navy a little early so he thinks that's why the FBI is looking for him. When they return Jack puts on a dress and pretends to be Chrissy who's suppose to go out with a client.

Jack has been dating Scarlet O'Hara-type girl Nancy Norwood and Leo gets in the way during their date at the apartment.

But when the guy asks if he could spend the night; Chrissy has to stay. And things get out of hand when Chrissy boyfriend shows up looking for her.

So that's when things get unpleasant.

This is initially great news for Chrissy when her parents would be able to move closer to her. Unfortunately, Reverend Snow tells Chrissy that the recommendation board would never approve of three kids living together; therefore, she is forced to move out. However, Jack and Janet try to prevent Chrissy from leaving.

    Larry Loves JanetLarry visits the kids' apartment one day, feeling down and depressed. While Jack and Chrissy are out, Larry reveals his problems to Janet, telling her that he was rejected by a girl. Janet consoles him and, as Larry leaves, blows him a kiss from across the room. This leaves Larry thinking that Janet is in love with him. After Larry tells Jack that he is in love with Janet, Jack coaches her in how to deal with Larry.

Hoping to "convert" Jack into liking girls, Mr. Furley plans to coach him. Thinking that this would finally get himself off the hook of his pretending life style, Jack goes along with the training. However, what he doesn't know is that if he is successfully "converted," he would have to be evicted.

However, when Jack and Chrissy overhear Janet's conversation with one man, they think she is hiring one to be a surrogate father.

They agree to share it but when the girls buy expensive and needless things that's when they all turn on each other. Eventually it gets so bad that they decide to go see a therapist to deal with it.

When he didn't show, but responded to Chrissy's note, she invites him over to meet her at the apartment. When he arrives, however, Jack and Janet think Chrissy might not like him and try to break their date.

    The Goodbye GuyMr. Furley complains to Jack, Janet and Chrissy that while he was visiting his brother Bart's office to give him the rent receipts that were overdue, he humiliates him in front of Nancy, Bart's secretary that Mr. Furley is fond of. Feeling down, the kids try to console him. While discussing ways to cheer Mr. Furley up, Jack overhears him on the phone talking about "taking gas." As a result, the kids think that Mr. Furley is contemplating suicide.

    Jack's GraduationJack is one test away from graduating cooking school. The test consist of preparing a salmon dish, and Jack does his best to prepare the meal. However, when Jack wasn't looking, one of his classmates switches his unprepared dish with Jack's, giving Jack a failing grade on his exam. When he might not graduate from cooking school, Jack tells Janet and Chrissy that he is leaving town.
